We offer rustic handcrafted lamps made in America.

Sizing:
Small Lamp: Total Height 17" and Width 7". Lamp Shade dimension: 12" Length, 6" Width, 7" Height
Medium Lamp: Total Height 24" and Width 12". Lamp Shade dimension: 16" Length, 10" Width, 10" Height

The lamp base is carved out of sustainably harvested American Hickory in the North Carolina mountains. We season the logs which gives excellent characteristics of the woods transitions into the heart of the tree. Bases are then cut, sanded and lacquered to preserve the natural beauty of the wood.

The shade is crafted from solid 12 gauge copper sheets which is cleaned and brushed. Shade designs are hand cut on each of the four panels. Patina is then applied to give color variations on the copper. To round it out we incorporate stained glass on the two large sides.

Our standard designs don’t work for you? That is fine, contact us and tell us what design you would like! There is no up charge for custom designs on shades.

Interesting facts. Hickory is the hardest available domestic hardwood (Janka scale 1820). Being a hardwood, this species will have what is called "spalting" which is a fungi produced within the wood during decomposition. Hickory has a "White Rot" spalting which is different our softwood lamps we offer. White Rot bleaches the wood from the outer part to inner giving it very distinct color characteristics.

Outstanding craftsmanship and incredible uniqueness. The lamp far exceeded my expectations and is truly a functional work of art in my home.
